The Gullco KAT ® carriage is a motorized platform for welding and cutting applications. The KAT ® travels along a piece of track and its purpose is to automate welding and cutting operations. The KAT ® does this by moving the activated welding gun(s)/ cutting torch(s) along the desired weld path at the exact required speed. The benefits of the automated process are: eliminated manual error and fatigue, consistent results, productivity is increased, precise control over all welding and cutting operations.

         The electrically powered KAT ® has a rack and pinion drive that, drives it forward or in reverse at a precise, selected speed. A wheel guide system grips each side of the track enabling the KAT ® to operate in any welding position. An advanced micro-processor-based control provides precise forward/ reverse speed settings for optimum automated results.
