The Gullco MOGGY® is a trackless welding carriage. It uses a friction drive designed to automate Horizontal Fillet Welding, Lap Welding and Butt Welding. In this video we see the MOGGY® completing a beam welding application. This carriage is ideal for beam welding applications because of its small size and can fit inside box beams and between stiffeners allowing for continuous welds to be produced. It can be fitted with a Gullco Compact Oscillator to perform multi-pass welding. These operations can be performed on horizontal fillets with a minimum radius of 39 in. (1 meter) and up to a 30° incline. Following is a brief description of the Moggy and components that make up the system.
